The old jetty on Jurien bay beach was constructed in 1960. It was made for the use of a jetty to walk out on the ocean, also for recreational fishing and to survive the expanding crayfishing industry. It now remains as an important archaeological/Heritage site for the district, as a relic of an early jetty on the coast north of Perth.

Full view of whats left of the old jetty on Jurien Bay beach which is now a heritage site that is accessible to the community and tourists.

Another photo of the parts of the old jetty, it's a great spot to capture many photo opportunities. They then built a new jetty due to bad storms destroying the old and so the new jetty was open to public on the 11th of April 2011, to demolish the old parts and make way for a new jetty plus constructing the new one in total cost $2.238 million.

Old jetty with sea foam after a wave crashed along it and along the shore.

This is the new jetty that was constructed on Jurien Bay beach in 2011. It was done with pre-cast marine grade concrete headstocks and decking modules, has a fishing platform that is 9m x 7m, has a hand railing on the complete south side of the jetty and 4m high cantilevered lighting columns at 20m centres along the complete length of the jetty.

Just a full shot of the new jetty so you can see how big they made it. It goes out further in the water then what the old jetty did. The structure design life of this jetty is meant to be a minimum of 40 years and took 29 weeks to construct.

This is a shot taken from under the jetty so you can see what it looks like from underneath, looks really good with the flow of the beautiful water under it.

These are the beach shack change huts that they've put just on the entry way of the beach, I think they are awesome.

These change huts add a little extra character to the already popular beach in Jurien Bay.
Taking pictures is savouring life intensely, every hundredth of a second, Keep your love of nature, for that is the true way to understand art more and more.

This is a little stream that runs down off the waterfall at the botanic garden in Kings Park.

This is where the little stream from the waterfalls runs down into.

This bridge is over the stream so you can cross over to the other side, looks beautiful in person.

Bench seat at Kings Park for you to take a sit down to take in the stunning views.
A Great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed.
